Welcome to KSC 518, Lowestoft!


Council 518 of The Knights of St. Columba is drawn from the Roman Catholic community of the parish of Lowestoft, where worship takes place at the two churches of 'Our Lady Star of the Sea', Gordon Road in North Lowestoft and ' St. Nicholas', Morton Road in South Lowestoft.

The Knights of St. Columba is an organisation of Catholic men who have joined together to serve their Church, their priest and their parish community as well as their fellow men and each other in charity and fraternity.

The Supreme Council of the Knights of St. Columba ordained that a charter be issued to Lowestoft Council 518 on 15th January, 1956. The first Grand Knight was Dr. J. D. Frain who served for a year and he has been succeeded by those listed below:
